Aloha Slider with Pineapple Compote

A tangy and sweet Island-inspired burger. Use our Southwest Black Bean and Sweet Potato sliders for some party bites that are sure to please!
Pineapple Compote (enough for 8 - 10 sliders)
1Clean and core the center of a ripe pineapple. Cut into rough chunks. Using a food processor with a steal blade, pulse the chunks until shredded. Place the mix in a strainer and press to remove most of the juice. Place mix in a bowl add the juice of a lemon and lime, cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
Build the Sliders
1Deep fry or sauté the Jens & Marie Southwest Black Bean & Sweet Potato slider until brown and heated to internal 165°F.
2Place the slider on the bottom bun and top with a 1 tbsp. pineapple mix, 1 slice red onion, and a sprig of cilantro.
3Spread the inside of the top bun with 1 tsp. Cattleman’s BBQ sauce and close the slider.Aloha Good!
